Pair of corner consoles in rosewood veneer, stamped under the molded Aleppo breccia marble. Curly wood, rosewood and violet wood veneer. Curved jumping feet joined by two crotch shelves. Gilt bronze trim decorated with stylized acanthus leaves.

Germain-Maximilien Durand (1839-1820) was a 19th century Parisian cabinetmaker. He participated in the Universal Exhibition of 1889 during which he won a silver medal. He mainly produces copies of 18th century furniture.
