Rosewood marquetry chest of drawers with four two-row drawers.

Elegantly curved on the front, it rests on four curved legs finished with bronze sabots chiseled in geometric shapes, pearls and acanthus leaves.
The sides with a complex "S" curve have diamond marquetry.
The chest of drawers is topped with its formerly restored royal red marble.

Significant work has also been devoted to the bronzes. The lock entries are topped with a face. The falling pull handles on the valets are marked with the Crowned C punch. The latter attests to a tax on metals intended to finance the Austrian wars. It allows the chest of drawers to be dated between 1745 and 1749, the period during which the tax was in force.
