Description

Nîmes style chest of drawers in richly carved solid oak, typical of Louis XV. This piece presents three drawers with curved fronts decorated with finely worked floral reliefs. The gilded bronze handles and rocaille ornaments bear witness to the refinement of French regional furniture from the 18th century. The arched legs and the domed top emphasize the elegance of its silhouette. Keys and locks remain functional. The generous patina shows the traces of time and invites careful restoration which will restore all the luster to this character chest of drawers.
