    A beautiful half-moon commode veneered in precious woods and richly inlaid.

    It opens with three doors and three drawers.

    The top is a white veined marble with a cavetto molding and raised edges.

    The central door is decorated with a trophy of a ewer, musical instruments, flowers, and fruit.

    The frame features stringing, checkerboard patterns, and corner finials.

    The side doors have lozenge-shaped trelliswork and small flowers.

    The stretcher is shaped, and the uprights and tapered feet are fluted.

    The gilt bronze mounts include drawer pulls and keys with laurel wreaths, antique-style drops, keyhole escutcheons, rings, and sabots.
    The apron is decorated with flowers and acanthus leaves.

    Fine quality, circa 1900.
