Elegant Transitional marquetry secretary stamped by Léonard Boudin with the JME (1735-1804) received Master on March 4, 1761. The wood species
used are rosewood, violet wood, stained maple and amaranth. It features a doucine drawer under the marble and a flap revealing an exceptional
reveals an exceptional theater with eight drawers topped by storage compartments. One of the drawers contains an inkwell.
A rare feature of this piece is the absence of a crosspiece between the flap and the lower leaves.
This piece of furniture has been fully restored, varnished with an old-fashioned pad varnish, and the leather on the flap has been replaced.
