This solid mahogany cabinet opens with a flap featuring light wood inlays on the front.
This flap, fitted with a functional original lock with key, reveals, once open, a work surface, a space with a pen rest cavity and a place to place a small inkwell (not included).
This sweet bill features a shelf at the bottom, i.e. two levels.
The sides are sober and slightly indented.
The whole rests on two overflowing bases.
Formerly used for writing small letters, which is why it bears the charming name of Billet-Doux, this little secretary will appeal for its dimensionality and pure lines.
