A charming Napoleonic display case with its rounded shapes, curved front, and arched sides. At the leaning height, it is made of mahogany and mahogany veneer, circa 1880.
It opens with a 6 cm deep drawer, hidden in the apron but nevertheless decorated with carved garlands at the bottom and continuing in a net on the sides.
The central section offers two doors with medallion-shaped glass, their contours highlighted by a curved rod and ornaments at the top and bottom. They lock, and the right-hand one has a full-height brass lock. These doors reveal a mahogany interior equipped with two mahogany veneer shelves, adjustable on racks, each offering a maximum width of 28 cm.
The uprights are carved with projections on the upper part, then with canted sides decorated with acanthus leaf scraps. This display case features a molded and fretted plinth, resting on two scrolled front legs and two straight rear legs.
