We present an elegant Italian antique round table dating back to the mid-19th century. The table features typical features of the Louis Philippe period. The round tabletop is embellished with a central inlay decoration, creating a highly refined effect. The tabletop is supported by a sturdy turned central leg supported by three curved feet. The distinctive feature of this beautiful antique table is the mechanism that allows the tabletop to be positioned vertically. This type of table is known in Italy as a "sailing table." This table is perfect for enhancing a living room or the centerpiece of an entryway. Furthermore, thanks to the ability to position the tabletop vertically, you can also use it in small rooms, where you can place it against the wall and use it open only when needed. When the tabletop is vertical, the table will take up a space 70 cm deep (approximately 27.55 inches). Whether positioned vertically or in a classic manner with a large vase in the center, it will capture the attention of all your guests. It's in excellent condition with minimal signs consistent with its age; you can consider it for your home right away.
