This lovely little Louis XV style living room cabinet is a work of Louis XV period around the year 1760, it recalls the productions of Pierre II Migeon, it is built on an oak and fir frame, and is veneered with amaranth,
The belt with crosspieces fretted with curves and counter-curves opens on the side by a long drawer which is built entirely of oak with the exception of the frontage which is made of fir, the bottom of the drawer made with tongue-and-groove boards is nailed from below , the small gilt bronze rosette pull button is the original one, it is cast in one piece with its pigtail thread.
The 4 feet are drawn on a very restrained and very fine curve, all the sides are veneered with amaranth in rising thread, and are finished with pretty gilt bronze clogs which are posterior.
The top of the piece of furniture forming a writing desk has 3 right sides highlighted with a thin amaranth strip forming an edge finished with a nice finish on the front, the front face of the top is slightly curved, the top receives an old burgundy leather in a bore .
Conditions: Good general condition the leather has stains and small wear visible in the photos, no lack, beautiful authenticity and beautiful finish.
