Refined little table in rosewood and rosewood marquetry, opening with a drawer in the waist. The front of the drawer features a butterfly-winged rosewood veneer surrounded by rosewood and light wood fillets. The lock is in working order and comes with its chased key. The legs of this small piece of furniture are curved and feature rosewood edges highlighting the diagonal rosewood marquetry. The legs end in bronze scrolled hooves. The slightly curved top of this coffee table is adorned with a composition of rosewood worked in diamond pattern with interlacing bands of different shades and light wood fillets. This design is surrounded by a rosewood fillet, which in turn is framed by diagonal rosewood to enhance the contrast. The edge of the top is embellished with a bronze moulding sculpted with plant motifs. An in-between shelf connects the four legs. It features the same composition as the top, with marquetry and refined moulding.
