    Elegant little table in mahogany and rosewood and rosewood marquetry, in the Transition Louis XV - Louis XVI style, dating from the 19th century. Its oval top, richly decorated with a diamond motif, is encircled by a bronze baguette finely chased with pearls and acanthus leaves. It opens at the waist with a drawer featuring a working lock, a finely-worked bronze escutcheon and key. The jambs are adorned with delicate ribboned floral falls. The curved feet at the bottom, finished with bronze sabots, are joined by two crotch shelves, adding a touch of balance and refinement.
