Louis XV work table in rosewood veneer and marquetry with mother-of-pearl inlays. This small piece of furniture has an animated top surrounded by a brass ingot mold streaked on its edge. A mahogany diamond marquetry is surrounded by an inlaid brass fillet. Against a rosewood background, we can admire a floral composition made of mother-of-pearl, brass and bone. The rosewood belt, with movement, is cut and also presents an elegant marquetry of mahogany diamonds and mother-of-pearl and brass branches. It forms a false drawer with an original hook lock in working order allowing the upper flap to be closed. The latter is decorated with an original mercury mirror dressed in molded and gadrooned brass rods. Inside the furniture, a mahogany storage space has three compartments. This living room table rests on four arched legs decorated with bronze scraps in the upper part and worked bronze shoes in the lower part.
