Pair of Napoleon III mahogany pedestals with marble tops and gilt bronze inlays.

The circular white marble top is adorned with a finely chased gilt bronze border.

The band beneath the top is embellished with bronze elements featuring alternating foliate motifs and rosettes.

The four square feet are joined by a circular base surmounted by bronze lion's paw feet.

General condition: Restored by our master craftsmen using the traditional method of hand-applied shellac and alcohol.

Origin: France, second half of the 19th century.
