Large double-sided molded and carved solid walnut pedestal desk. The front opens with four drawers and a through compartmented niche. The left-hand pedestal features an overhanging plan file. The back opens with a drawer, a niche and a retractable shelf in trompe l'oeil on the molding. It stands on eight curved legs and features panels with gilded bronze plates, handles and keys. The leather has been replaced by our professional upholsterer. Very fine cabinetmaking and superb waxed finish.
