Description

Superb small roller shutter filing cabinet in traditional office style, crafted in solid oak with golden-amber reflections, an elegant testament to the fine craftsmanship of the early twentieth century.

Its horizontal-slat roller shutter — known as a tambour — lifts smoothly thanks to a patinated brass handle. A key lock adorned with an oval brass rosette secures the whole piece with discretion and character. The interior reveals four light wood shelves, ideal for holding documents, files or precious books.

The structure rests on a carefully finished moulded plinth, and the rear panel with double frame recalls the rigour of period workshops. The natural wear and warm patina of this piece are perfectly consistent with 1900-1920 manufacture — an excellent state of preservation for its age.

Dimensions: H 90 × W 48 × D 38 cm – Weight: 8 kg.

A characterful piece, ready to find its place in an office, library or living room, to bring a touch of history to your interior.
