    Louis XV inlaid sloping desk

    circa 1750


    Elegant Louis XV period sloping desk in Rosewood and Rosewood veneer, opening at the front with two drawers and a flap resting on two wrought-iron pulls. The latter reveals eight small drawers, pigeonholes and a writing tablet upholstered in Green Leather.

    This Bureau Marqueté en Frisage, rests on Four Cambered Feet. Its Lock Entrances in Gilded Bronze. It has its own Key.

    Very fine quality furniture, with attractive proportions.
