Louis XV period sloping desk in marquetry

Circa 1750

Superb sloping desk with inlaid veneer of violet wood and rosewood.
Rosewood.

Opening with three drawers, a secret trap door and a flap on the front. This one discovering
4 Small Drawers and a Tray in Leather gilded with Small Iron.

It rests on four curved feet. Handles of Drawing and Entrances of Lock in Bronze.
