This solid and veneered mahogany desk of English origin opens at the waist with two drawers highlighted by ebony and lemon wood fillets.
These drawers with drop handles and bronze rosettes are equipped with original locks with inlaid entries accompanied by their keys.
The four legs are sheathed and also highlighted by lemon tree fillets.
The top, veneered and also decorated with fillets on the frame as well as the edge, is covered in fawn-colored leather with gold vignettes.
This stepped top offers two new drawers, with chiseled brass knob and concave lids mounted on hinges.
Each of these covers is inlaid with four miter-cut elements and a central one forming an oval.
