Beautiful little desk called "bonheur du jour", signed "P-Sormani" (1817-1877),
19th century, in black lacquered wood, enhanced by magnificent gilded bronzes and embellished on the drawer fronts with mother-of-pearl flowers, umbrella-style base, mechanism desk, by pulling the top the 2 drawers could be opened, top enhanced with red leather encircled by a gold roulette motif, signature on the front of the lock.
