This sloping desk in solid mahogany and mahogany veneer features a lower section opening with a drawer in the waistband. This drawer is fitted with a key and an original lock in working order. This full-sided piece rests on four turned, gadrooned feet.
The trapezoid-shaped top is recessed from the bottom. A flap rests on the lower shelf. The front is enhanced by a shaded flame mahogany finish. The brass lock is accompanied by a diamond-shaped escutcheon. Inside, the flap is trimmed in green leather with a central motif, gold vignette and cold vignette. There is a large drawer at the bottom, two smaller ones above and a storage space.
