This glazed music cabinet, crafted in burr walnut and embellished with scroll marquetry, embodies the elegance of the Charles X style. The top features a tubular structure in worked brass, topped by a walnut burl veneer top with blackened wood and light wood marquetry forming scrolls and volutes. The front corners are rounded and light wood fillets frame a refined geometric figure in the center. This piece of furniture opens through a door with glass rounded at the corners, revealing an interior fitted with 3 fixed shelves, a drawer with inlaid front and 3 compartments for partitions. The lock is functional. This small piece of furniture is flanked by turned and carved columns in blackened wood, offering a subtle interplay of motifs and proportions. Restored in our workshop, this is a remarkable piece, perfect for lovers of exceptional furniture.
