    Elegant Louis XV style cartonnière cabinet, late 19th century, stamped RAULIN on the back.
    Rosewood veneer, chiseled and gilded bronze ornamentation.
    Curved upper section, opening onto six leather-covered cartonnières, interior lined with marbled paper.
    Lower section with two grilled doors, revealing eight cartonnières.
    Original lock and key, in working order.
    Solid oak frame.
    Usual restorations, french polish.
    Very good overall condition.
    Disassembles into two parts.
    *Victor RAULIN, cabinetmaker and bronze artist active in Paris between 1878 and 1925, is renowned for the quality of his period furniture. He succeeded his father in 1878 and received several awards at the Universal Exhibitions of 1878 and 1889.
    Workshops located at 110 rue Vieille-du-Temple and then at 226 boulevard Saint-Germain in Paris.
