An artist with an eclectic talent, he worked on furniture as well as jewelry, porcelain and fabrics.
After studying architecture in Brussels, he went to New York in 1882 and worked with Tiffany.
He exhibited his work at the Munich Secession in 1899, in Turin in 1902, but above all in Paris, during the 1900 World's Fair, in the Art Nouveau house of Samuel Bing's group, to which he belonged.
