Large double-top tea table in solid walnut. Superb inlaid decoration of ferns and a butterfly on a cherry-wood background. Note the quality of the cut-outs and the contrasts created by the choice of wood species. The curved base is doubled and carved in the round. Remarkable craftsmanship and a beautiful patina! An identical model can be found in the Musée d'Orsay collections.
