Elegant table of living room forming desk of side in mahogany of Cuba, opening by a drawer on the side (key, entry of lock and lock of time), a drawer in frontage furnished with its old leather, the plate in basin on three faces, this table rests on 4 feet in spindle with grooves finished by mahogany "sabots".
The oak frame is a Parisian work of the Louis XVI XVIII period, stamped on the side of the table upright by L Moreau for Louis Moreau maitre on Sept. 17, 1764. He was a furniture manufacturer and dealer, fornicating for great names and receiving orders for the service of the Court,
The table shown here is a fine example of this, with a fine choice of mahogany and fine craftsmanship.
