    Mahogany Work Table – Charles X Period
    A charming Charles X period mahogany work table, combining elegance and ingenuity. This refined piece rests on a four-legged console base joined by a circular stretcher, characteristic of furniture from 1825-1835.
    The rectangular top with rounded corners opens to reveal an interior mirror, transforming the table into a dressing table. It also uncovers several compartments for storing sewing supplies, jewelry, or toiletries.
    At the bottom, a compartmentalized drawer, lined with green felt, provides additional storage. The two retractable side panels increase the work surface when extended.
    The mahogany displays a superb natural grain enhanced by a beautiful antique patina.

    Period: Charles X, first half of the 19th century.

    Condition: Very good overall condition. Beautifully restored with age-appropriate features, all opening mechanisms working perfectly. Some minor signs of wear consistent with its age.
