    Elegant Napoleon III style pedestal table, made in the second half of the 19th century. The scalloped top in black lacquered wood is beautifully adorned with a hand-painted floral decoration, enhanced with gilded rocaille motifs and shimmering mother-of-pearl inlays. The turned and carved wooden tripod base features delicate marquetry and rests on original casters. The top is tiltable, allowing vertical storage while displaying its decoration as a work of art.
