This sumptuous octagonal table exquisitely combines rosewood and mahogany in a marquetry and design typical of the Art Deco style. Its top, made of high-quality 5 mm thick veneer, features a precise geometric and symmetrical arrangement. The table's staircase-shaped belt, enhanced by an upside-down quarter-round, harmoniously frames the whole. The atypical base is in the form of an inlaid box, with rosewood veneered "open book" faces framed by vertical bands of mahogany carved with foliage and fruit motifs. The corners are made up of wide uprights in relief, forming superimpositions, illustrating a play of volumes faithful to Art Deco aesthetics. The low crosspieces, subtly worked into inverted staircases, complete this architectural work. It is accompanied by five mahogany extension leaves, which can be adjusted according to your needs, comfortably accommodating up to sixteen guests.
This is a masterpiece of French craftsmanship and cabinetmaking, where savoir-faire meets timeless elegance.
