This desk table, with its cherry-wood scalloped edge, opens with an inset walnut drawer, lightly molded in the shape of a "bec de corbin" around the edge, with an iron drop handle.
It stands on four pegged doe feet, also in solid cherry.
The walnut top, encircled by a bird's beak, is composed of three tightly-jointed planks with no composite filling.
Whether used as a table for up to six place settings, or as a desk, this item stands out for its clean lines and the light hue of its wood species.
