This richly molded round rosewood pedestal table is a magnificent example of Napoleon III period craftsmanship, dating from the mid-19th century.
Inspired by the "Return from Egypt" style, it combines elegance and functionality.
The fold-down top, thanks to an ingenious pivot system, is encircled by braided molding and a striated belt, adding a touch of sophistication.
The baluster-shaped shaft is also ribbed, reinforcing the table's refined aesthetic.
