Elegant four-panel Chinese screen, made of black lacquer, richly decorated with figurative scenes depicting figures dressed in traditional costumes against a lively landscape of pavilions, pagodas, vegetation, and architectural elements.

The design, finely painted and enhanced with polychrome and gilded details, stands out against the glossy black background. The borders feature a particularly refined geometric design, embellished with stylized motifs and contrasting decorative elements.

A truly beautiful decorative piece, both spectacular and refined, that fits equally well in a classic interior as in an eclectic or contemporary setting.

Asian work, 20th century.

Dimensions: 183 × 183 cm
