Beautiful cabinet by decorator Roger Bal, 16 rue de Sèvres, Paris 7th arrondissement, who was active since the 1920s.
This cabinet is probably a production from the '40s. The cabinet is in curly birch from Karelia, a robust tree that grows
the border between Finland and Russia. The wood has a very singular appearance of swirling patterns with beautiful
shades of light and dark brown. Because of its rarity and the difficulty of obtaining it, curly birch is expensive and reserved for
products.
This cabinet opens with two doors, the interior is equipped with four shelves and two drawers.
