A Louis XV period cherrywood bonnetière, dating from the 18th century, with a beautiful warm patina and a particularly decorative front.

This piece opens with two large, superimposed doors, separated by two drawers in the frieze.

The doors are adorned with molded panels with scalloped edges, embellished with scrolls, while the upper rail features a discreet marquetry lozenge motif.
The front is enhanced by beautiful cut-metal keyhole escutcheons, also found on the two drawers. The long, exposed metal hinges emphasize the antique and regional character of the piece.
The wide, molded cornice adds a striking presence to the whole. The lower section rests on cabriole legs framing a scalloped and carved rail.

The interior offers ample storage space with several levels.
The inside of the doors and some of the shelves retain their original textile lining. A characterful piece of furniture with generous proportions, whose luminous color and patina particularly highlight the wood grain.
