Large ART DECO period vase signed LE VERRE FRANÇAIS.
It is made of acid-etched multilayer glass with a purple-tinted purple dahlia decoration on the lower part.
The background when it is nuanced with dark and light pink.
Very beautiful vase of good quality

The brand “Le Verre Français” was registered in 1918 by CHARLES SCHNEIDER, master glassmakers who previously worked at DAUM

This collection of vases and cups presents a vegetal decoration particularly appreciated, at that time, by the American clientele. What makes it rich is the wide variety of acid-etched decoration, presenting a contrast of materials (smooth versus matte).
The colors worked are less prolific than the Schneider line also created in 1918. Its wide distribution allows it to be profitable despite the extra work caused by the acid etching work.
There are three signatures that identify the “Le Verre Français” vases:

    A tricolor berlingot
    French Glass
And finally, from 1925, the term Charder

    Height: 43.5cm
    Foot width: 11 cm

Good general condition, little wear, to be cleaned (see photos).
