    This large vase is 40 cm high and very elegant.
    Its gilded bronze tripod frame is very stable. Each foot is topped by a spinning top that adds volume to the base. The shaft is encircled at mid-height by a star-shaped collar. It bears a chalice adorned with four points from which two arabesque handles emerge, enclosing a ring at the top.
    The conical flared vase fits into the ring and chalice, holding it upright.
    It is made of very fine, clear-sounding crystal. It measures 28 cm in height.
    The entire lower part is frosted and the base is solid. The crystal is clear from mid-height and finely engraved with a garland of roses and foliage. At the top, a fine frieze announces the delicacy of the beautifully scalloped rim.
    This is a Napoleon III period set in very fine condition. Note only that the gilding has lost some of its lustre.
    This cornet vase, also known as a "tulip tree", is sure to seduce you with its finesse and distinction.
