Rare 6-piece set in Baccarat crystal. Cylindrical in shape with straw stem, they are wheel-engraved and gilded with fine gold, with a Royal crown. The set is composed of 6 pieces: a water glass, 2 wine glasses, 1 champagne glass, 1 cognac cup, 1 punch cup. Period 1900.

If the first page of Baccarat's catalogs in the 1900s represent examples of customizations that could be requested from the Baccarat factory, with monograms, coats of arms and crowns, our glasses are the most prestigious example, the special order of a king to Baccarat of a set of glasses engraved with a royal crown, wheel-engraved (by hand of course!) and gilded with fine gold.

Rarely, 4 out of the 6 pieces have kept their Baccarat paper label, which was replaced by acid-etched stamps, which appeared later, starting in 1936.

Perfect condition, beautiful museum-quality collector's set: almost 130 years old and in absolutely new condition.
