    A beautiful Napoleon III numbered crystal head-to-head digestif service (attributed to Daum Nancy) comprising two glasses, a large carafe, a small carafe, a sugar jar and a serving tray. All with gilded rehauts, gold flower motifs in relief, twisted carafe handles, gilded scalloped edge tray, carafe and pot stoppers with a faceted ball at the top, carafe necks with gold edging. The flowers are treated in fine sprays of great elegance; a beautiful set with slight minor imperfections from use, not serious, the golds are bright and unworn, a very fine piece, the carafes unharmed by a small flaw of fine scratches under the tray due to use and a small chip on one side of the tray, but the whole is prodigiously well preserved. A charming, decorative and useful piece.
