Beautiful candy box in richly cut Baccarat crystal.

This is a luxury production from the late 19th or early 20th century in pink-red overlay crystal. By overlay crystal, we mean a surface covered with a thin layer of colored crystal which, once cut, reveals the white layer through transparency.

Old piece not bearing the signature of the crystal factory. The model is referenced under number 67 in the Baccarat tableware catalog of 1916 (number 520 in the special catalog of cut pieces).
