Large transparent vase with slightly wavy vertical stripes, a technique known as Côte Vénitienne, decorated with daisies painted in gold. Red is applied under the gold, a combination of gold and red characteristic of Baccarat. The flowers are painted freely to harmonize with the shape of the vase. It does not bear a Baccarat signature, early 20th century, prior to 1936, when the crystal manufacturer began systematically affixing its signature in acid to its products. A similar model is reproduced in the Baccarat catalog.
