Description

A refined creation from the House of Daum, this snail-shaped bowl is crafted from clear crystal and pâte de verre.

The bowl's clean lines are enhanced by the discreet and poetic presence of the snail, a decorative signature characteristic of Daum's work from the second half of the 20th century.
This decorative piece can also be used as a trinket dish, serving bowl, or centerpiece.

Signed Daum France on the base.

Period: circa 1970.
Dimensions:

Diameter: 17 cm
Good overall condition.
Note: a small chip on the rim, barely visible and inconspicuous, does not detract from the piece's decorative quality.

Literature: This model is listed among Daum's creations combining crystal and animal motifs in pâte de verre.
