In 1994, Marie-Claude Lalique, René Lalique’s granddaughter, conceived a groundbreaking concept that would leave a lasting mark on the House’s history: an annual collection of limited-edition perfume bottles, crafted from crystal and individually numbered. True works of art, these creations revive the tradition established by René Lalique in the early 20th century, when he revolutionized the perfume bottle by elevating it to the status of an exceptional object.
The “Jasmin” model, released in 1995, holds a special place in this prestigious series, as it marks the second year of the collection’s launch—a collection that has since become iconic among Lalique enthusiasts. The first editions, produced in limited quantities, are particularly prized for their historical significance in the revival of the House of Lalique within the world of fine collectible perfumery.
The bottle, with an elegant triangular silhouette featuring softened angles, is crafted from satin-finished crystal with delicate amber hues. Its embossed design depicts slender branches of blooming jasmine, a motif dear to Lalique’s naturalistic aesthetic. The stopper, carved from frosted crystal, evokes a corolla of delicately blooming jasmine flowers, poetically diffusing light through the crystal.
