St Louis crystal wine decanter, Tommy model.

The Tommy model, an emblematic Saint Louis model that has been followed for many decades and is still produced today, is a symbol of the expertise and refinement of Saint Louis crystal.

Present in the 1930 catalog, Tommy truly acquired its letters of nobility at a dinner given in the Hall of Mirrors in 1938 in honor of George VI.

The wine decanter is still made by St Louis and sells for €630.

An early production, prior to 1936, it does not bear the acid-etched stamp under the base.

It is in perfect, like-new condition.
