Diamond-cut crystal wine carafe / cognac or whisky decanter. Produced by the Le Creusot factory in the 1820s-30s.

It may also have been produced by Baccarat when it took over Le Creusot's molds and catalogs.

A fine collector's item, one of the first "production models", our Restoration-era decanter is around 180 years old - perhaps 200 - and is in good condition, with a few micro-chips on the edges of the stopper.
