The Moser factory was founded in 1857 in Karlovy Vary by the engraver and businessman Ludwig Moser. Just 20 years later, he became the official supplier to Emperor Franz Joseph I and, later, to Shah Musaffereddin of Persia and King Edward VII of England. At the beginning of the 20th century, the crystalworks' artistic style changed, adopting decorative techniques that are still typical of Moser production today. With a 160-year tradition, the Moser crystalworks has supplied its products to emperors, kings, and other powerful figures of the world. In the Czech Republic, Moser has four showrooms (two in Prague and two in Karlovy Vary), but also sells its products in stores worldwide.
