Nice set of 6 wine glasses, a model imported from England at the beginning of the Restoration, after the anti-Napoleon blockade.... they are of such high quality that our French crystal makers have realized that a similar offer is urgently needed from now on.
Flint-glass, a very clear crystal with a beautiful sonority, thick, the foot blown in the mold, the tapered leg cut with 7 (!) sides going up in flat ribs towards the corolla, a capacity above the average of the time for wine glasses, they were all the rage.
In very good condition, these individually blown glasses date back 2 centuries, and may show some wear and pinhead chips at the foot, but absolutely no defects.
