Superb and large freestanding shower vase with neck trimmed with finely chiseled bronze, in multilayer acid-etched glass, decorated with clematis on a pink background, signed Richard above the foot, circa 1920/1930. Richard is a trademark registered by the glassmaker Edmond Etling, established at 158 rue du Temple in Paris. It applied to the multilayer acid-etched cameo glasses, usually landscapes, made by Loetz during the 1920s / 1930s in Austria.
