    Glass paste gourd-shaped vase with curved body and flattened sides, flared neck with oval cross-section, signed Gallé*, with orange acid-etched decoration of hedge bindweed flowers, Art Nouveau period, late 19th-early 20th centuries.
    This vase is in good condition. It is signed on the side.
    Please note: some minor scratches and soiling, particularly on the neck, and wear and tear over time, see photos.

    *Emile Gallé (1846-1904) was a French industrialist, master glassmaker, cabinetmaker and ceramist. He was founder and first president of the École de Nancy in 1901. A child of art and commerce, he was one of the most important figures in the applied arts of his time, and one of the pioneers of Art Nouveau.
