A very pretty antique pink opaline glass cup holder mounted in an elegant gilt brass frame, with a handle and openwork gallery decorated with a Greek key pattern. The removable cup has a lovely, slightly flared shape and a rich pink opaline glass, reminiscent of the "pigeon's throat" or "hydrangea" hues of 19th-century French opaline glass. Made in the second half of the 19th century, circa 1870-1900. The beautiful mount on a pedestal base features beaded decoration, punctuated with small balls, and a metal base adorned with a small rosette.

10 cm total height, approximately 9 cm maximum depth including the handle. Cup alone: 6.5 cm high, 7 cm maximum diameter. In very good overall condition considering its age; the glass is in perfect condition. The metal has a lovely antique patina, with some wear and minor oxidation, all harmonious. Approximately 300 g.
