Here is a unique piece, a large bowl (or a settling tank) old blown and shaped by hand.
It is estimated at 8 hours the working time for a person to fashion at the time this piece of absolutely unique and exceptional shape from a cabinet of curiosities. We find this type of object in the first chemistry laboratories and in entomology offices.We dated it to the 19th century but it could just as well have been blown out before with its big lip at the top, its archaic shape and its little flaws.
An astonishing piece and quite thick (5 to 7 mm?)
