MARCEL- LENOIR is the pseudonym of Jules OURY (1872-1931).
    Painter, engraver, illustrator, jeweler....français.
His talent was quickly recognized during his lifetime, and he exhibited at the major Salons of his day, receiving public commissions and having a museum dedicated to him.

Born into a family of goldsmiths, MARCEL6LENOIR began his studies in Paris in 1889 at the Arts-décoratifs and then the Beaux-Arts.
His work is timeless, cradled by the many influences that would evolve over the course of his career. (Middle Ages, Symbolism, Cézanne...)
